In section 1.2, it is stated that this procurement is a joint procedure and contract award is by a Central Purchasing Body. This contract is not a joint contract, it is a Central Purchasing Body Contract operated by BSO PaLS on behalf of the participants listed in section 1.1. Core Products (All Lots). Core products represent the majority of purchase volume for that commodity type and are listed in the Pricing Schedule SS19a. All core items within a Lot will be purchased by the Client from the Contractor during the contract period as and when required. Non-Core Products (Lots 1 and 2 only). Non-core is purchased by the Client in smaller volumes but represent a substantial range of Kitchenware and Crockery products. The Client will use the Contractors catalogue discount structure listed in the Pricing Schedule SS19a to determine value for money in terms of quality, price and delivery for these products. Where these products represent value for money they will be purchased by the Client from the Contractor during the contract period as and when required.
